Likely this is the final SkyScraping of 2021. Can you believe we made it? We did and now, as predicted, hope - although mired by a modicum of chaos and a blur of facts and speculation - is closer to us than the edge of the horizon.
To keep you percolating, here’s one last look at this week’s Jupiter-Saturn conjunction, taken by my pal, Dennis Taylor (http://www.shuttervita.com)
Speaking of Jupiter and optimism and fantastical speculations, the distortion of reality by wild fantasies will continue through Jupiter’s semi-square with Neptune in Pisces on 4 January. That said, keep your powder dry as the old saying goes. Don’t trust anything that sniffs out like a twist of truth through the first week of January. By 9 January things are going to sort out. Facts will replace nonsense as the appearance of a plan for 2021 for the coronavirus comes into focus. Speaking of plans for 2021, do you have one? January is packed with action-item transits. Those ready to pluck low-hanging fruit, set plans in place, and get on with living life to the fullest in the year’s early days make the most gains within 2021.
So, then. On your mark. Get set. It’s 2021.
Whatever you need to do to get organized, make haste with that task. Realizing the holidays are still in play, how about some personal behind the scenes planning augmented by a simple bullet point guide for January? For each of the transits below, there’s a tip for Jupiter and an assignment for Saturn.
8 January: Mercury in Aquarius square Mars in Taurus
Plot and thoroughly plan everything you’re thinking you want to do. Keep this close to your chest. Not to share in the moment.
Then do it.
9 January: Mercury conjunct Saturn in Aquarius
Step into the next tier. Imagine everything required to fulfill your plans in the best means possible. Go for quality. Go for perfection and excellence.
Reach out to others who have what you require to complete your objectives. Let those folks and only those folks know your plan. Apply for all support and assistance. Ask for everything you need.
12 January: Mercury in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus
Adjust the plan. What have you thought of since this whole thing started that needs to be included that’s not? What course corrections are required here in the early going? Reset your action list.
Steer steady to your new course. Now it’s time to declare your agenda in grounded, real world terms to those with whom your efforts are relevant... comrades, friends and family (not quite the entire world yet - that’s next month).
13 January: Mars in Taurus square Saturn in Aquarius
Go through the list of action items. If loftier goals appear, add them too. Figure now is the time for everything you’ve conjured.
Take the first step for each and every objective on your list. Commit with dedicated purpose to the long-haul tasks ahead. Monitor and budget your energy and output for the enduring effort.
17 January: Jupiter in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus
It’s time for new big ideas. Huge, innovative world-changing concepts and materializations of those concepts. Make goals to carry you through the next 3.45 years (one-quarter of the Jupiter-Uranus synodic period).
Petition those with the skill sets you do not possess that you need to complete the loftiest of objectives. Vet those people, then vest the ones who align with your philosophical agenda. These are long-term relationships, so be fair, considerate and all the while fruitful.
Realizing it’s the holidays and all the busy-ness implied, there are more powerful push-forward transits to come in January. However, I’ll hold on those until early in January. Keep in mind that soon the following transits ride on the heels of the efforts of the alignments above and step forward for their own conscious reckoning and consciousness integration:
20 January: Mars conjunct Uranus in Taurus

31 January: Sun in Aquarius square Mars in Taurus
Take a moment to assess the above trends. We have three Mercury patterns followed by three Mars patterns with one Jupiterian insert brought home by three solar transits. So the agenda is communication (thought and word) followed by well-thought out action (deeds) that leads to conscious acceptance and integration of all real world realities and clear integration of all accomplishments. That’s rather cool.
Wait! There’s more! Looking forward to February, the fruits of ones labors, bloom and indicate promising growth undeniable progress as Saturn in Aquarius advances to square Uranus in Taurus mid-month (17 February). So, are you good to get cracking? That’s rhetorical really. The planets position for hugely supportive sanction for all who have leapt into action off the report of the starter’s gun.
